The Briscoe 8th Grade boys B basketball team lost in overtime last night against Reading JH with a score of 58-64. The Eagles put up a very good fight and were led in scoring by Sam Afowowe with 14 points. Tyler Onyedim, Vance Ostera and Peyton Heckard with 9 points each. Also adding to the score was Jordan Faltine with 8 points, Jacob Bush and Diego Saenz with 4 point and Tyler Rodney with 2 points. The Briscoe 8th Grade B Team finishes the season 7-1 in district play and district runner up.

The Briscoe Lady Eagles 8th grade B team fell to Reading this week. The final score was 28-12. Top scorers for the Lady Eagles were; Amariah Kendrick with 4 points, Kylie Stamper with 4 points, Caroline O’Driscoll with 2 points, Jonice Arnold with 1 point, and Taylor Clark with 1 point. The Lady Eagles finished the season with a 6-2 record and district runner up.
