Common Threads is having a Thanksgiving food drive to help the District’s displaced families.
Canned goods, rice, pasta, beans and kid-friendly snacks are all needed. All donations should be non-perishable.
The drive will run from Oct. 24 to Nov. 4. Lamar CISD employees will pick up all food donations, beginning Nov. 7. The donations will be brought to Common Threads for packing and redistribution. Schools and other collection sites are asked to box up their donations for easier pickup.
