Lamar CISD will hold its annual Teacher Job Fair April 18 at Briscoe Junior High School.
Lamar will open a new elementary school in August 2015 and is projected to add more than 1,000 students per year for the next several years. A high school and junior high school are scheduled to open in August 2016.
The Job Fair begins at 9 a.m. and will end at 2 p.m.
Interested candidates must apply at the Lamar CISD web page prior to the Fair.
Candidates should bring copies of their résumés and proof they are eligible to teach in Texas.
